this weekend i had my problematic resonator and middle section (a pipe?) removed and replaced with a straight ss pipe. the tone is lower and a bit louder in the low-mid range, high end roars and is a bit more raspy than it used to be. anyway, i love it! mid-high end throttle response has improved a lot.

i forgot to get an o2 bung so i couldn't get my cat installed. next week saturday she goes on.

edit: i just want to recommend this mod to anyone whose experiencing problems trying to maintain an sp and it's shitty resonator. -.02

i did the same thing when my resonator had a crack in it. it did get a bit louder but still pretty deep sounding. i did get good high end out of it. i'm sellin it BTW hehe
