Default is my intake alright?

hey guys i just recieved my injen intake by ups. got rid of the aem. I noticed something about the injen though. right after the mount, I can see an unevenness in the surface. When i put my hands into the intake, i can feel jagged metal. it feels like the last portion of the pipe after the mount was welded on. So my questions is: would this affect performance in any way? my reaction was, this can't be good for airflow. am i being over sensitive?

if it feels jagged on the inside, try getting some sandpaper and smoothen it out. Make sure you clean it out before you slapping that thing on or else youll have a motor full of pieces of metal.

kengs- are those the JDM chicks in your avatar?
