if i have retared the timing 2 degrees have colder plugs from zex and a fuel pump. how many shots can i take safely with no problems at all like if the most i can do is lets say 80 im gonna do 65

 

I got a 97 GS with a stock fuel pump and regulator, with NGK stage 2 cold plug. I put about a hundred shot in, wich was way to much. I ended up melting the two middle spark plugs and tourching a couple of exhaust valves. Now the most i inject is about a 50 short, no problems at all.!!!!

 

yea 65 is good that what i run in my 91 ls......

 

Make sure you change the spark plugs and you'll be fine w/ a nice 50 wet or dry shot! Happy hunting

 

i ws squeezing a pro-shot with a two stage 200 shot w/ 4 sequential bottles on a stock LS block.... worked great....

 

take your hp to the wheel and divide that by 2. I think thats the best way to shoot.

seriously?? WTF were you running?? 200shot on stock block.. not likely.

I shot 75 on stock internals. (NX) The only problem i had was traction!

 

i called nos and they told me dont go more than a 60 shot so u will have enough fuel for sure. they go just get spark plugs and u dont need a fuel pump running 60 just get a gauge and a bottle warmer later if u want. i guess im gonna do that and get a fuel pump anyway to be really safe

 

i am running a 65 shot with stage 2 NGK plugs and i have had no problems... i raised my fuel pressure to about 48 psi. Im gonna try the 75 shot at the track one day and hopefully everything will be cool. i got the ZEX kit. it is great

 

i got a complete NOS kit for sale, brackets, lines, full bottle, micro switch, fuel and nos solenoids, and original NOS blanket. $350 picked up.
