Default P30 Auto ECU w/ JDM B16 SIR-II CEL Code 19

I am using a JDM P30 ECU with my JDM B16 SIR-II. I am getting a CEL Code 19. I know that it has to do with the ECU being for an Automatic and I am using a manual. Just wanting to know if anyone knows how to get around this without chipping my ECU. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

To change the RP18 from 2.4k to 1.4k ohms, do I just go buy another resistor and solder it in? The page doesn't really explain the details on this. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though.

According to what I read on that site, yes. You will need to simply unsolder the old resistor and solder the new one in. Be carefull not to pull any of the traces when doing so.

he can't use this information if he's using a small type JDM P30 ecu. The board layout/configuration is totally different.

How do I convert it then? Do I have to have the ECU chipped?

No idea on how to convert a JDM AT ecu to 5speed w/out reprogramming it. If you're interested I have a close to stock B16 5speed program. Hit me up if your interested.

I just bought this one last week. Everything runs great, just get the CEL. I also have a JDM P30 that was chipped. Been running with it but with major power loss in VTEC and fouling out spark plugs. After I got the new P30 I opened the old one and it has a label on the chip that says "EG6 B18C5", so that has been killing me. Need to get a chip for my old one if you can help me out with that. It is socketed, so I guess I can just pull that chip out and put another one in it. If you got a chip I could put in, I would be interesed in that.
