im putting my b18b head back on and i need some help! stupid me mixed up the cam caps when i took the cams out to remove the head.. does anyone have a diagram from a helms manual they can send me showing howto install them back in? Also i need a diagram of the head bolt pattern and tq specs for my 95 b18b head.. thanx! hope someone can help me.

 

The 4 outer ones only go one place so you cant mess those up. And the 3 inner ones should have a number and an arrow on them. That shows the order and which side to start from.

 

Head tq sequence (looking from the top, in the engine bay):

--->I/M
8-4-2-6-10
7-3-1-5-9
-->Header

Tq in at least 2 steps 29ft lbs, then 63 ft lbs.

awsome!!! thanx a ton now i can get this pig on the road now would the sequence be the same for a gsr head??? bout to put one on in a week or 2..

 

also know anywhere i can find a pic of how the timing belt gets routed on a b18b thanx.

 

GSR and LS head, same tq, same seq. listed w/ stock head bolts.

 

Does anyone know the tq specs on the cam caps for a ls... i dont want to over tighen these.. hope someone can help me snaped one bolt allready but luckly i have the sears screw outs and it took it right out.
