haha, went on a meet/drive with a large contigent of BMW guys. Started at the BMW Plant in Spartanburg, SC. They have a BMW museum there, and we all parked right in front. Parked the Hype R with the all the bimmers like i usually do when i got to their meets (i have a few really good friends into bmws). Next thing I know, a plant employee stops his official x5 next to #1035.
"Sir, could you please move your car?"
"What? Why"
"You can't park here because you dont have a bmw..."
"uh ok, i'll move it, will you give me a ride from the parking lot?"
"sure"

so i move my car way the hell away, i'm slightly confused. On the trip back the guy elaborates "uh yeah, i'm not trying to be an *******, but its company policy for only bmws to park in front of the museum. In fact no one is supposed to park there..."

so that sucks, i found out the bmw arrogance goes up on a corporate level....the funniest part, I couldnt park my decently clean car there, but they let this:
park there...(haha sorry steve, i had too)

nice pix. i've been to that bmx plant before and the museum is pretty cool... well the whole plant is pretty cool from what i could see.

 

Yeah I toured it a couple of years back with a guy I went to school with...very nice. It's only 1.5 hours from here, but I have a hard time getting excited (no pun intended here) about BMW's after that. What a boner-killer!
I still drool over the M's though...

 

actually my friend pulled right up on the sidewalk and did a burnout in his e36....i should have done it

winged: had to be 'riced out' so when i passed e36 m3 (it definately happened) they would be more pissed
