Well... this guy needs a camber fix pronto!



Anyway... When I first got into Hondas my first love was the 3rd gen Prelude. I would frequent hondaprelude.com everday until it went down. I loved the 3rd gen. I also got to know a LOT about it. The styling and the sufficient power all contributed. I must say this. If given the chance. I would sell my 98' Civic in a heartbeat if I could find a 1991 Lude out there in awesome showroom condition. But it would have to be stock. I almost regret buying the Civic instead of a 3rd gen Lude. Everytime I see a nice one on the road it makes me think about the days when I wanted one S0o0 bad. So since this car gets little to no recognition here at H-T I decided to bring the 3rd gen to you. Most of the sites I used to frequent are long since deleted or taken down so some of my favourite pics are gone too. But here are some I was able to find

That first prelude (the dumped one) was my old prelude. That was back in my ricer days when we were just playing around and having fun.

 

ewww.....honda made the worst motor for the most hideous car they have ever made.......i think it is cool thougth when someone puts the h22 in one though.

Now that's what I call a short ram intake! Sweet swap.

 

it almost looks like it goes into the firewall, placing the filter in the cabin. just relocate the battery to the trunk(something i think every honda with that battery placement should do) and a regular short ram looks feasible.

what's this other front end somebody is talking about? for some reason, i think this is the only flip-up headlight vehicle that wouldn't look good with a stationary light kit, but a different approach to the nose of the car could easily change my perspective on that.

LMAO....wtf i said i dont like the looks of the 3rd gen lude...............but i like seeing h22 in them.........that is such a shock to see a h22 in those cars......im being positive cause i like to see h22's in them....sorry i dont like the look of the car itself.....and insted of getting off topic here........PM ME if you habe anything else to say......if not then enjoy the pics.

No one asked you if you liked the design of the 3rd gen prelude. In it's time, it was one of the best looking designs out there. Now that it's an older car, and newer designs are out, there are better looking cars available IMO. However, that doesn't mean that you should come out and boldly state, " Yeah, it's ugly." If you absolutely want to get that point out without offending anyone, try saying it differently. Something more along the lines of, "It's not my taste of cars," would have been a MUCH better response than what you stated.

BTW

do any of you guys remember hondaprelude.com? I remember one week, a 3rd gen got the car of the week award or whatever, but it was all white, with white interior and he had his headlights molded down and the small gap between the bumber and the headlights he put a light there for them.. I dunno I thought it was a sick car back in the day

Wow, some nice 3rd gens in this post. Just wondering about the aftermarket for them. Also, which year(s) had the 4 wheel steering? How much hp did the upper level models make?

 

I love the look of the 3rd gen prelude. The engine was ok for the car. The forte for that gen was handling. I had an 88 with a whopping 135 hp and 127 lb/ft of torque. I wonder what a crvtec could do to wake that chasis up?

That's pretty funny. ha ha. (Can anyone sense the sarcasm?)

Since you've got such a cocky attitude with your corvette, why don't you bring it down for a one on one race to see who's car is the slowest. If I lose, you can tell everyone that my car truely is slower, if I win, you can take your words and shove them up your ***.

 

Damn I used to love these cars too, forgot all about them. They used to look so hard to me.
