question(s) for boosted Y8 owners out there..
I'm getting ready to put together a DIY turbo kit for my Y8 and I concerned because I'm worried about the strength of my bottom end. I've asked around (and searched
) and I'm getting vague answers anywhere from 170-200 whp.. oh yeah and this is gonna be w/o standalone, but with proper fuel upgrades, IC, and vafc. So before I decide on a turbo I wanna know what I can realistically push w/o standalone. Thanks

with an afc and 440 injectors, u can push 10 psi. that will give u about 180-190 whp i believe. look up afc hack on the search option or go to thedropshop.com, its under tech. but if i were u i would seriously consider hondata...just my opinion
oh, and u should check this site>> http://turbod16.no-ip.com they can help u out there

well i think most people will say that d16 rods start snappin at like 250+whp... there are a few who have outdone that though... ::cough:: BoostedED9 ::cough:: Liam821 ::cough::::cough:: hehe. Depending on turbo size and tuning it's possible to make 200whp @ decent amount of boost... I made 194whp @ 8-8.5psi on a T3 60 trim semi-tuned. I think Hatchblack made 208whp @ 8psi on a t3/t04b. I was running the afc hack with intank pump and the 450cc injectors. don't quite remember what hatchblack was running. PERSONALLY... my limits without a standalone (limit of my setup as well) is like 10psi.
