Default Running Rich And Studdering

Hello everyone out there,

I have been told by a shop that im running a bit rich, and i am noticing a studdering problem every once and a while. I can't dupicate it, it happens every once and a while. I have a 99 integra GSR, With Intake header, and exhause. I have had my car checked at dealerships and has friends with code scanners find nothing. I want to further mod my car but don't want to mod it if i am still have issues with it. Any suggestions on what could be wrong with my car. Remember NO CODES, AND RUNNING RICH. oh yeah and it doesn't happen all the time, but when it does happen it is when i have my foot on my pedal not all the way down but just cruising. And then the car will slow down and jerk. If i let off the gas then touch it it will speed up and some times repeat this. Ways to correct it is floor it. Or it will just fix its self. I Started to notice this problem shortly after advanceing my timing, and then putting it back. So timing is stock and still doing it. Please Help!!

what do your plugs look like?

adding things that flow better usually means you run leaner...try reseting the ecu.

As someone mentioned in a previous post, you should check your plugs. You can learn alot about your car by reading the plugs.

i have changed my plugs and it did not fix the problem.
i have even changed the coil, cap, rotor and plug wires. none of them fixed the problem.
i also just changed the plugs in my friends gsr and it still has the same problem.
and my air filter was cleaned too.

The 02 sensor most likely be your problem. When a o2 sensor goes bad, it doesn't always give a code. If I were you, I would replace the 02 sensor, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, and check to make sure the timing is correct.

i had a fpr on and thought that was causing it...took it off and it still did it.
i even tried leaning it out with the vafc and didnt work.
i replaced the fuel filter also.
it probably is the 02 sensor.
my car has been running really rich too.
timing is correct, new spark plugs too.
i guess ill have to break down and buy two new 02 sensors.
