any links or articles and how-to do drop in an engine???
Im getting a new motor for my gsr, and I was wondering if anyone here has any articles, links, how-to's, or anything on putting in a new engine. Im not the best mechanic, but I think if I had something to refer to me and my friends could accomplish it no prob. TIA, bye!
i just performed a swap with two knowledgable friends. (i have had very minimal mechanical experience) The helms manual provides step by step instructions on replacing your longblock.

thanks guys. I was pretty sure it was gonna be as easy as you say, but I just really didnt want to run into an unexpected things when I get down and dirty...Tryin to take this motor out and put in the new turbo one in a day....realistically a weekend though
more power to ya for attempting this on ur own... i haven't done it... but i kno a couple of dumbasses that were able to accomplish this several times between a hatch and a db8 so i'm sure u can do it too. Keep a couple buddies around jus to help ya... i'm sure it will make things go faster for you.
