What's up man. You should head up to Gingerman this Monday (July 2nd). Lots of ITRs are going up there to get some track time on the road course (South Haven, MI??). My friend's ITR would probably give your Supra hell on the road course! He was picking on Vipers last week up there.
Welcome to our board!
I'm sure the guy you're looking for visits here.

I wish I could yellow, however, its my birthday on the 2nd. I have some plans already. I am getting more and more into scca stuff, although, straightline is my first love
Let me know when you plan on going again, and maybe I can tag along. I'm sure the tegs will kill me on a road course. The IRS susp. on my supra does pretty damn good, especailly with the 6spd. but it is a pretty heavy car. I have been to one scca event and watched some serious si's and tegs go at it.
thanks for the welcome. glad to be here.

Welcome, and Happy Birthday. I've got a b'day coming up on the 30th of this month. You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of your car would ya? I'm partial to MKiV's...
Sounds good Chris. My best friend's B-day is the 2nd also!
I think your Supra would have some trouble at the AutoX (SCCA SoloII) with the tight courses, but I think you'd do pretty well on the road course! Depending on the course you would be quite competitive with stock ITRs I would think.
If you're ever interested in getting involved, there are a bunch of Chicago ITR guys that come on this board. I'm sure they'd help out!
Once you get on the road course, I'm sure you'll agree it's the ultimate test of car and driver!

I would completely agree with you yellow. I have a bunch of dsm buddies that run too. I will take pointers from anyone and everyone.
The car has a great deal to do with it, however, driving is KEY!!!

Oops..I meant the "other" Chris (Supra) but we should hook up too onyx. In fact, we will on Monday at the Gingerman school. I'll be there in a dinged up 2000 PY ITR with white ITR wheels/kumhos (unless it is raining).

Be sure to look out for Wes (White Dragon)! Here's what his R looks like...you can't miss it. LOL!
Nothing specific happened to my R. Just a bunch of ******** parking nearby it even though I park in the back of the friggin lot!!
You have to love Honda for its paper thin body panels! I love how it dimples in even when you are waxing (particularly the rear quarter panels).
Yeah, Im looking forward to meeting Wes there. And you are right, nobody is going to miss that car!!!
I remember Wes from the Type R listserv and also since he has (or had?) and mr2 turbo and so did I until recently.

I was just given ya a hard time. My girlfriend loves when I get on it like that. Your car looked beautiful. I love black with black windows.
If you see me around, flag me down or yell Chris, and we can stop and shoot the sh*#. I would definitely like to get a closer look at your ride.
so what does a typical (if there is such a think
type r run in the 1/4, how about with some mods.
Thanks for all the welcomes, guys, you're all damn fine people. I don't think I have ever had that warm of a welcome to any forum. thanks again

Modded ITRs (All Motor, cams, etc) on slicks can run 12-13's. Pretty impressive cars, eh?
...especially considering they were built for the road course. Most stay NA because the compression ratio is already so high. Stay as long as you like. We like Supras.

I will definitely keep an eye out for you
As for why I didn't give the horn....Have you ever heard the horn on the Type R? It is embarassing! I think it should be recalled!
