IMO you only need an axle-back system (unless you're making some SERIOUS power upwards of 200 whp).
Expect to gain 5 hp tops with an exhaust. Mostly you'll achieve this on the top end.

Here's a thought...what if I get the exhaust...then the rest(piping) later. Is that possible? Will companies sell just the piping? What does the Thermal Stealth run?
I would suggest just purchasing the axle-back (muffler and connection for flange). A number of diff companies offer this (Thermal included). If you want it to be more quiet, get the *stealth* version. I'm sure Thermal would sell the rest of the piping later, but I wouldn't get it for the ITR. There are minimal bends in the factory ITR piping...

I only gained .3 whp removing the axle back.... and 4 whp removing All but the header...
