radio will not turn on
my parents have a 91 Accord EX and recently took it to a repair shop to have the car worked on. as standard practice they take out the radios in the cars they are working on and lock them up in a cabinet to prevent theft.
however, when they replaced the radio they were unable to turn the radio on. i took a look at it myslef and checked the wiring and everything is wired correctly, i know the radio is receiving power because the lights around the bass/treble control ***** and other various lights turn on but the radio itself does not turn on; this is on both an aftermarket unit and stock unit. i've even taken the radio out and installed it in my CRX and it works fine. what gives?
any help would be appreciated.

you should try going to your local car audio shop i'm sure they can help you out.. i was thinkin the security code but since its still messed up w/ your new unit as well i don't know what the problem is..
maybe a bad ground somewhere? a bad ground could make the internal amp clip. look at the wiring twice, in my car i tried to add a fan to the remote for the amp i have and it sent it in to safe mode (shutdown), wouldn't work unless i had the wiring perfect.
