Resetting ECU on GSR

How do i reset the ECU on a '99 GSR? There is no mention of "ECU" on the fusebox, so I have no clue what to do. Thanks.

Unhook the negative battery cable. Sit for a minute. Put it back on. Let the car idle for 5 minutes. Turn off the car. Turn it on. Cruise away.

Is all this really neccesary? I thought all you had to do was unhook the battery for like 10 mins?

Disconnect battery for 5-10 minutes, reconnect it and let it idle for 5 minutes so that the ECU can adjust itself. Make sure you have your stereo security code before disconnecting ur battery
