i couldn't find any other threads asking this question....:
i need to shave 100lbs off of my '94 GSR. i have 17" Konigs which will be first to go.
any suggestions other than the usual CF hood? anyone know just how much weight that shaves?
i'm not getting rid of my a/c (i live in fresno, ca), or power steering pump. i'm also no getting rid of my interior pieces ( i have a three year old and need the rear seats, etc). i am willing to ditch the moonroof in favor of a carbon/kevlar insert.
i dunno. any ideas??

Get rid of the spare and most other **** in the trunk. You could also ditch the stereo on speakers but put the covers back in place. CF hood might work.....
Lightweight wheels
Aftermarket header/exhaust
Lightweight flywheel
Lightweight seats/steering wheel
Aluminum-bodied coil-over shocks
Why do you need to shave 100lbs anyways?

where are you getting 325hp from? If you are hitting low 12's then start worrying about weight.

RevHard stage 2C, hondata, etc :D hehe. shhhhhhhhh. it's a secret! it's actually only gonna be 260h.p. 'till i get off my *** and do the pistons/rods/etc. but when i'm all done i'd like to get into the 11's so i'm fishing for secrets.. like shaving weight. always plan ahead, i always say.
I say purchase a huge *** air compressor and a zizwheel and ******* cut anything out of your car that will not hold the body together.

Drive without a dash - figure out some way to bolt your guage cluster in.
Remove all luxury Items like:
Winsheild wiper motors and wipers
A/C and P/S
ALL Interior Panels
All but driver seat
You gotta get hardcore about it if you want to shave 100 lbs outa your car.

get a cf hood, fenders, bumper cover, hatch and buckets. and also do everything else that they said and it should be about 100 lbs, oh ya and take off stuff like heat shields, windshield wiper motors and wiper fluid tank and anything that is not really needed
good luck and let us know how it goes
