I noticed there were a few other philly people who owned Type R's. I just got mine recently and was wondering who else in philly owned an ITR. Anyone in or just outside philly? Just let me know or im on aim, my sn is swtxaznrac3r. Thanks!

i think Philly_NBP_R is the only one from philly. the rest of us are near by.
I think someone is going to be setting up a littel meet soon that you should come too. keep watching in the next couple weeks.

well, I'm not technically from Philly, but I do live about ~15 minutes away...
Welcome to H-Tech! We will hopefully be setting up some kindof get together soon - perhaps to Cecil County Drag Strip, or whatever - watch for a thread on this forum...

If you live in Philly, lock up your car - unfortunately we've had a rash of ITR thefts recently in the area ... Make sure you have an alarm/autolock/club/lojack, etc.

Again, welcome, and check back often - this forum moves quickly...

I am like 30min south of Philly. Most ITR owners who actually live in Philly don't have their ITR's anymore. Damn Thieves Since we had the first ITR philly meet last year 3 of the 11 ITR's there were stolen. 2 were while in Philly. Only one owner bought another R that was Mike (Apexii) who got a badass 98 CW. Welcome to HT

I am also in Reading, but dont own an ITR!

Bought my Arrr in Williamstown, NJ though - havn't been back since...

 

Yeah, Type R's are stolen alot in philly. Actually GS-R's as well. I don't take mine out much except on weekends and late night. I talked to a guy who lives about 10 mins from. His R was stolen and he got it replaced. Its sad to hear about a stolen R esp when its close to home.

I live 3 mins from the montgomeryville dealership. I usually go there for my maintenance. The staff seems good. Have you had any problems with them?

 

i have never taken my car to montgomeryvile for service. its like a 45 minute drive for me.
they are the only place with an R when i wanted one. the got me one in like 15 minutes. so i will give them a .

 

The Montgomeryville dealership never sold many R's. I asked about it and they said 5-6 within the 5 yr span. So i figured they aren't many in this area to begin with.
