Default Honda (USA/CANADA) oil filters

After reading, http://ntpog.server101.com/reviews/f.../filters.shtml, I don't think I will ever use Honda oil filters again. Anyone have recommendations? Seems Mobil1, Bosch, and STP are good ones. STP is cheaper then Honda yet performs much better....hmmm

As he said in the article, if you change your oil filter often (I change every 3K miles) then it's not an issue. Remember the oil carries alot of dissolved impurities as well. Just because you have synthetic - doesn't make you engine bombproof. Change your oil often - it's the lifeblood of the car! Good article

DO NOT use Mobil 1 oil filters. I know of two people with vtec motors (one being me) who have had the Mobil 1 filter explode on them. BTW--the Mobil 1 oil filter is NOT made by Mobil--it is made by Champion Labs and rebadged.

Puroilator PureOne is by far the best filter for the money.
