I have a 5-zigen fireball and i failed due to it being to loud. I was laughing when the guy told me this so i went home and put the stock mid axle back on the car 5 min install, and went back to the place " the car is much slower with out it on". 10 mins later I get my sticker and today i put it back on and drove to the place to get gas and the guy that failed me saw me and he shook he head and now i was laughing.
people are a$$holes when it come to inpection time.

same here, i live in mckinney and i tried getting my inspection at the Kwik Kar down the street. dude wouldnt even look at my car because i have a AEM CAI and texas doesnt allow open air filters on cars. so i take it down to the city of allen, find a Kwik Kar and he just slaps a sticker on it without even looking at anything. he had a green civic ex with a drop and exhaust maybe more, but he was cool.

 

Whas so funy about that? If its too oud then it doesn't pass. So you put your stock one on to pass it. That's what everyond does..

I got passed yeserday the inspection was at an exhaust shop and the guy's were wondering why I got a modded exhaust ticket. (I have a louddddd supertrapp that they put on for me) go figure.

 

Ahh how it sux to live in your areas... down here in good old FL we don't have inspections/emissions ....

our emission standards aren't that bad in ATL...

Maybe it's the fact that the guy that puts my car on the fake dyno is a friend of my dad's...maybe that's it...

anywho...my dad's shop is working on getting a license to test...good news for me i guess...
