Default Boredom + Soldering iron = DIY wannabe city lights

So i was bored and i had my brothers soldering iron so i set off on a project. I liked how some cars had lights between their headlights so i went out to pepboys and got 2 amber wedge bulbs, and 2 wedge bulb sockets. I drilled 1 hole on top of each head light housing where the highbeam chamber is. The plugs were rubber and they sealed really nice. Oh yea, i took the 2 wires that are on each plug and soldered them into the wires of my corner lights (The ones that dont blink that is).. One day i'll prolly get the Raybrig super bright yellow wedge bulbs

Actually, the sockets were made of rubber, and you just plug the wedge bulb into it. I drilled a hole into the housing that was a little smaller that the diameter of the socket, so that i could just plug the socket in and it would stay nice and tight. I did the ones on XxSOHC DRIVERxX car too, but he bought the wrong sockets so i had to used silicone sealant to hold them on the ghetto way.

hey bro, I did the exact same thing in 97 on my 90 crx si. I hooked it up to my parking lights and it looked similar to DA lights.

I even did it to a extra set of 5th gen civic lights for my car..
