Default Just got b20 swapped in, now throws code 45 (too rich or too lean)

code description:
45
System Too Lean or Too Rich malfunction in the fuel monitoring systems

I drove the car for over 300 miles home and then going down the last street to my house CEL comes on. I reset it for the heck of it to see if it came back, and sure enough...60 miles later or so it did.

I recently had a b20b block bolted up to my b16a2 head for a CRVTEC setup done by a shop. They said the engine is running a little lean up top (nothing bad, except performance hit) and to replace the b20 injectors with my stock b16 injectors when i get home. Aren't they the same size?

Any info on what it could be or what i should do would be appreciated!

Thanks,
mike

Yes, 240cc I believe. I just finished my B20vtec swap last week. It's not throwing any codes, but I had fuel delivery problems the first day. I don't think it was running lean, but I didn't have a FPR. Without the FPR, the motor could barely start let alone run. What compression are you running btw?

like low 9's, (b16a2 head with b20b block) all stock. I was thinking gettin a FPR because im thinking that even tho the displacement is only 2.0L, honda never made a 2.0L VTEC engine, so its not ready for the extra fuel required for VTEC.

thanks for the reply!
