How much boost/whp would you feel comfortable w/ on a stock b18c?
Im ordering my bigger injectors on monday so i can up the boost. Im @ 90% w/ my 440's @ 240whp and 6.5lbs. The motor has stock 10.6 comp and is very healthy. Im running s100 for fuel mgt and payn tunes pretty conservativley. I plan on a new block come wintertime, but not earlier. I figure 11lbs and ill be around 300whp. How much further would you push it, or would you?
up to 400 to the wheels with around 9.3:1 compression(3mm headgasket) and race gas. amount of boost is irrelevant.
this topic is so dead. it all depends on your tuning when it comes down to it. you have hondata, as long as you get it tuned you could push 300 easy. good luck

Yea, i searched thru the hundreds of threads and found that the ringlands become pretty volunerable around 300whp. The reason i asked was few were specific to my motor/comp. There were a few knowledgable folks who seemed confident that 320-330 with proper tuning, intercooler and other high quality components.
