Default 89' DX to 93' EX won't start..

I swapped the D15b2 motor out for the D16z6. I've done eveything I can think of to get it to run. My car was DPFI but I've driven the last 8 months on MPFI ( I swapped it ), so I know there's no mistake there.

It kinda baclfires like the firing order is wrong, but I set the Dizzy 1-3-4-2..

I'm reusing the CRX Si ECU, dizzy, and intake manifold. I also have a V-AFC for the vtec part, but I can get the car to start..

I checked the grounds ( tranny, fuel pump, valve cover, and battery ). Its getting spark at the plugs.

I'm using the FPR off the Z6 fuel rail, with my CRX Si injectors.

There are two wires that used to goto a sensor of some type on my D15b2 motor on the back of the block, but there isn't anywhere to plug them into the Z6 motor ( there was one plug that plugged in, I think its the oil presure senor ).

Any comments or suggestions would be great, thanx !! bleveret@tampabay.rr.com

More than likely you have the fireing order wrong, if it back fires that means its getting gas and spark.

1-3-4-2 dizzy
4-3-2-1 on the motor

But you aren't the first to think its "outta timing" even the guy next door that can't speak english thought that...
