What tire pressure would you guys recommend for an ITR with Azenis and stock suspension? My first autox is next weekend. I'm thinking about 40 in the front and 45 in rear to counter understeer. I'm open to suggestions.
I used to be an advocate for high pressures in the rear. But, recently, my region had a test and tune and I tried different setups. The best setup for me (Type R on race tires) was a 5psi difference with the rear being lower.
(my exact setup: 225/45/15 Kumho V700 38F/33R)
This setup produced predictable oversteer/neutral/understeer... all depended on what I did with the throttle or brake (trail braking, lifting off, etc.)
To answer your question, I would try 38F/35R. If you get roll over, then increase pressure in the front only. But, honestly, sometimes rollover is due to bad driving and not low pressures. So, have a pro critique your driving.
GOOD LUCK
