What is the factory recommended tire pressure for the Integra Type R? It is in the owner's manual and also in the driver's door jam.

It's in both the places you mention, so why do you ask? 35PSI front, 33PSI rear, cold pressure is factory recommended.

Thanks! I'm asking because I don't have an ITR, but will be getting the same 195/55/15 Bridgestone Potenza RE010 tires for my Civic.

I highly recommend using the money for two sets of Falken Azenis, rather than one set of RE010s.

Also what's your suspension setup?

I wouldn't assume that stock ITR tire pressure is optimal for your setup.

I have a '97 Civic EX coupe. I bought wheels which came with Potenza RE010s. I will be putting in Mugen Lowdowns. What do you guys think would be the best tire pressure with this setup? The factory recommended tire pressure for the 14 inch wheels is 30 front, 29 rear. Anybody here know the recommended tire pressure for the 99-00 Civic Si, because that car also has 15 inch wheels.

I'd take them up to 35 and see how you like it.

I personally run 38psi on Azenis on the street and drop the rears down at autoxs for oversteer purposes.

Tire pressure from the factory is not related to wheel size.

It has more to do with handling characteristics to make the car "safe" to drive for the average idiot.

Since your car has no rear swaybar, try running more air pressure in the rear to get more rotation.

I would try 40/44.

So that means that if my car came with 17 inch wheels from the factory, then the factory recommended tire pressure would still be 30 front/29 rear?

For now, it doesn't, but I will be adding one from a Civic Si soon.

Obviously, lower aspect ratio tires require more air (in most cases), but we're dealing with 50 series tires which are not low aspect ratio.

FWIW, I ran 44/50 in my RE010s on my ITR. Oversteer is fun.

s-03's own wayyyyyyyyyyy better then the r010 and cheaper.

i have my pressure set a bit higher with the s-03's. but yeay your civic has its own pressure setting.

What makes the S-03's so much better than the RE010's?

I was impressed that the ITR came with such good tires from the factory. It's hard to believe that S-03's are significantly better than them.

RE-010's were excellent max-grip wise in the dry, they were awesome tires. But... they sucked ***** in the rain, in any kind of rain (especially any standing water), whereas the S-03's have almost the same grip in the dry and are amazing in the rain. I just hate my 195/50's, so i'm biased to say i like the re-010's better.

I'm my '00 Si with 195/55/15's I ran 38/36. I do not remember what the recommended tire pressures were in that car with that sized tires, sorry.
