Default Trip to p1auto for dyno/tuning, Very interesting dyno plot

Yesterday we braved the rain and headed to p1 auto for some dyno time. Here is one of the dyno charts we came up with. Can anyone guess what car this is and what has been done to it? Notice the torque curve? As you can see, it was hurting real bad before jack put his magical hands on it.

And just for comparison, here is the dyno of my 00 si w/ b18c5 swap.

Anyway, we had a great time hangin with the NC crew, p1auto is really coming together. BTW, jack is the busiest **** I have ever seen, boy was on the phone every 5 minutes, he closed up shop at ~ 9 pm that night and even stayed around a little longer to answer some of our questions.

I wish i lived closer to places like P1, and SGT....it would make getting my car tuned such a worrie free experience. Here in SoCal, you cant trust anybody, and the people you do trust you gotta watch them while they tune, just to make sure they're not doing something they shouldnt be

Close, it was a b16a2 w/ skunk2 stage 1 cams. Reason why there was so much low end power and torque is because he was running a usdm dc sport 4-2-1 and stock exhuast.

Yeah thats my car!!!

Jack is THE MAN!!! After the install my car just died when it hit VTEC. After about 10-15 Dyno runs he got it running real nice. The numbers are so low, because it is on a mustnag dyno, and I had my stock exhaust on. He said I'm at about 160ish on a dyno jet now, and after the exhaust I should see another ~10whp gain???

Either way we had an AWESOME time down there!!! Jack, and P1 kicks ****!!!

I think a good 2.5" collector header and free-flow exhaust will really help... Good luck..

You should take your car to Church Automotive Testing to tune then.

Cause i got the motor and it installed for the price of my b16 and 1000 bucks, not to mention my motor had 45000 miles on it, and it only had 20k. Plus I still have my si bus status, sunroof, cruise control, and ghetto azz seats. But don't get me wrong, i'd rather have an itr.

always seems to me that B16s are too good to waste, especially if theyre going in those heavy bodies. A B20 block for an SiBus would be the way to go.

edit - but I understand your situation

B18C5 in a hatchcrap is what I would love. VTHokie, do you mind me asking where you purchased your ITR swap?

Got it from a close friend. History behind it was that it came from a 01 itr, the owner of that car noticed it burned oil, so he had the whole engine replaced under warrenty. So my friend knew the guy at the acura dealership real well and purchased the engine for almost nuthing. Piston rings were replaced along with a few seals. So after bugging the hell outta my friend and annoying the chit outta him till he would give it up, he agreed on trading it for my b16 and some $$$. He did the install too. Although the engine still burns a little oil!!
