I just finished installing my Skunk2 IM on my B18C1. How did everyone hook up the IAT sensor??? Mines looks so ugly cause the wires just go across the intakemanifold. So how did everyone else do it? or did i plug in the wrong plug? cause i do have a CEL for the IAT sensor.

looks like you had to stretch it to plug it in , maybe you did plug in the wrong one . if not , extend the wires and run it underneath the manifold and then over the side and plug it in .

 

is this Beaver?

 

I extended the wires and hooked it up from underneath. No CEL and runs great.

this guy had a thread about installing the skunk2 manifold , search for that thread

 

if you need a new sensor i got one i can sell you... like $10 shipped or soemthing

Can you just use any kind of wires? or does it have to be shielded? oh, and is it the right plug?? i just want to be sure.

check the other sensor that you think you might have switched the plugs with , if the harnes as a lot of slack then chances are you prolly got them mixed up . if you need to extend the wires jus find like an old wiring harness and get the wires from there .

what up mang...this is David...use to drive a '90 4 door charcoal grey civic...now in a RSX Type S...(use to go to Indy)...

what happened to your SOHC Vtec setup? haha

 

yeah, just run the wires up between the runners and to the sensor
looks cleaner

 

I ran mine between the 1st and 2nd cylinder runners. You can barely see it in the 5th picture of this thread.

Exactly what I did.
