currently untuned, the dyno shop just opened up and will not have a wideband 02 sensor until they raise some money and buy one. I'm running really rich and my hp is really pathetic.

Overall, unimpressive and disappointing.

 

Is the dyno shop in Ia too? If so who is it and where at?

 

The dyno is at 1455 S 1st Ave. in Iowa City, 53340 (319-354-7503)
They are called Overdrive Performance.

Apparently they have a dyno shootout the 25-27 from 10am - 4pm both days. $20 entry free, get a dyno run, graph, and a t-shirt.

I'll probably head down there to hang out for a bit on the 26th, but definitely not embarass myself on the dyno again. That day i'm heading to Cedar Falls to embarass myself at the track.

 

yah man ur car needs like it needs some tuning. at 5-6psi on my T3 i was making 165whp/140tq on the stock cat so you'e not THAT bad. I'm switching to a similar turbo as you but the 46 trim... gnna redyno at 6psi and see if my numbers go up.

 

From the looks of the dyno plot you're running lean everywhere from 3600 on up. Your HP shouldn't die off like that. And depending on the smoothing setting for the plot it looks like you're missing a lot up there also. If you think you're running rich because you're seeing black smoke comming out of the exhaust pipe don't be fooled. I had black smoke too (puffs) when I walked on the dyno. I was lean up top too. When I put the a/f ratio back up to about 12 my HP started climbing and was a lot smother then it was on the first run. 153 is kinds weak for 6.5 even from a D16Y8. You should be able to get another 30 hp from proper a/f ratio.

i was thinking that too... i remmeber hearing from someone that a jagged dyno line like that is like missing/detonation or something to that effect.
