crank shaft position is dizzy . .. possibitlys ~ dizzy took a ****, snapped timing belt, jumped a tooth, somthin with timing area.
yea thats what i thought to.. so i check my cam gears(stocK) and the arows seem to be the same..and i change my cap(i had an xtra) on my dizzy and doesnt die that much anymore but the throttle reponse is bad.. so tomarrow im going to try and buy new cap and rotors and see what happens
Sounds like your Dizzy bearings went out, over heated your crank angle sensor n fried it or something. Squeeky sound is the sound of your fucked up dizzy bearings tryna spin. Same exact thing happened to my CRX (D16A6 though, but same problem). If you're curious, pull the dizzy out n try to spin the shaft, if the bearings are good, the shaft should spin really easily. If the bearings are bad, it will be hard to spin. When i pulled mine out, i couldnt even spin it with a pair of vice grips on it! I also got that code for the crank angle sensor when my dizzy went out too. Long story short, got a rebuilt dizzy for $165 with core exchange.
thanks man..i resested my ecu and no codes... i drove around for 30 mins and still no codes..but still making squeeky noise... does that mean i need a new dizzy?
jus put your ear close to the dizzy, if thats where the squeeking is coming from, bye bye dizzy. Or you can do what i stated before and take it off n spin the shaft.

its still squeeking... but know my car doesnt even start. one of the cam gears jump, the arows are not facing the same way.. and i tried to turn the dizzy and it was hard..so i guess i need a new dizzy and fix my cam gear..
..could have any thing happen to my motor if my cam gears are the not same if im cranking it??

I bet it was the cam that the dizzy was connected to huh? Well n e ways, if it only jumped 1 tooth and you were just cranking it, i dont think much damage was done, if any at all.
Yea, you gotta loosen the timing belt and turn the cam gear back to where its supposed to be and get a new distributor. DONT get a used one, problem might happen again since its pretty common, jus get a rebuilt one, most likely it has a lifetime warranty anyways.
WHOA 250? Just call around any shop and ask how much a rebuilt one is after core exchange, which means you give them your dizzy and whatever price they want and theyll give you an already rebuilt one. I got mine from some little shop for 165 after core exchange
if you just loosen the timing belt and turn the cam wouldnt that effect the motor, maybe its different on a dual cam, but on my single cam i did that and man was my timing jacked, car wouldnt even start, turned out that when i turned just the cam and not the crank when i was turning it over my piston was slapping my valves cuz the timing was off so much. just my .02
