Default Noise Suppressing Plug Wires?

Does such a thing exist? I just heard from a co-worker today that there are spark plug wires that are better at keeping ignition noise out of your audio system. Does anyone have any more information? TIA

I've seen them around, but I couldn't tell you where to find them. What's the point? I would assume that a ground loop isolator, or improving grounds and other connections will yield better results. The latter would also be much cheaper.

Well, I'm going to try re-grounding my power amp first. The speaker wires could probably also stand to be moved. I just figured I'd find out about noise suppressing cables while I was at it~

Are you currently getting interference? The magnacores are supposed to provide good rfi suppresion. The stock wires should not have noise. The noise is normally in aftermarket wires. If you have stock wires I would not mess with it unless it is time to replace them anyway.

The magnecores are supposed to outlast your vehicle. I have 50k on mine and counting

Oh, I'm well beyond Monster....

I'm getting some noise from right front speaker (not sure if the rear is getting it). I have cheap-*** Belden plug wires in there now (long story), so that's why I'm exploring this avenue.

I have not tried monster cable lately. I always had bad luck with them in cars.

My experience with Monster is that they have weak solder joints and make the sound thick and fuzzy. The AudioQuests I'm using are somewhat sensitive to noise, but they're also nowhere near my power lines.

as for the plug wires... The non-resistor wire/plug setup will make more engine noise than the resistor wires/plugs. (ok well I could have left the plug part out.. it's the wire really)

Magnecore are not resistor. They use spiral wound wire to prevent RFI. Basically it is supposed to be a race wire that will not mess up your radio.
