From all the prototype and official turbo kits out there for the s2k, the intake filter placement is generally in the same location so your comment although valid is quite moot.
Colder air is better but any air being routed through a turbine will definitely be heated in some way thus the implementation of some type of intercooler.

i'm guessing you think that grill in the front is from grillecraft? filter placement, isn't that why they use an intercooler?

the filter is just there to keep the dirt out of the turbo. the intercooler will make up for the "hot air intake" as you guys are calling it

they made a turbo kit for rsx, which outcome 270whp.
BUT then with 14.1 1/4 miles.
which even N/A rsx can reach that very easy. (intake, exhaust)
