Questions about wheel bearings
I'm getting ready to replace the front wheel bearings and had 2 questions:
1. Should I buy the new bearings from the dealer, or is there something better/cheaper out there?
2. Is it a "sealed" unit, or will I have to pack them myself? The Helms shows two pics, one with the races exposed, the other with it all in one piece.
Thanks!

no cheaper alternatives out there, believe me, i've checked. no packing required. you will more than likly need a bearing separator puller thingy to pull the inner race off the hub.

I think I'd do the same for semi-frequent track usage, as a safety precaution.
Those round steel disks ARE hella expensive, however.
