Best ECU replacment
Hey I was wondering if anyone knows of the best replacement ECU. My friend told me that the APEXi AFC is the best for beginners and I saw he had a APEX that controlled everything, wich is the best and is there any way that there is one that can be hooked up on a computer?
hands down the Hondata unit on an obd-1 ecu...with a harness is your best bet. http://www.hondata.com

It really depends. If you plan to modifiy your car then you will need an aftermarket ECU. The stock ECU works best if the car is stock.
I know the stock ECU can adjust itself to changes but only to a certain degree. That were the aftermarket ECU comes in which is needed when you do cams, headers, exhaust etc...
If you got money, Motec's are the best on the market.
Other good brands to consider are Autronics, Apexi Power FC.
They piggy back apexi systems work ok but again, only to a certain degree. Just not as good as a full engine management system.
For honda's, you would use the V-AFC. I think S-AFC is just for other non-VTEC cars.
