Default what free/cheap mods are out there

ive been around hondas for a while but i haven't really looked into mods besides swap and that kind of thing. i just picked up my '88 si and it has i/e soon will have header. im gonna get my head port and polished and the vavlve ground but i was wondering what i could do for now. i'm going to get a pg7 next week. but other then bigger wires and advancing my timing how can i prevent running too rich. thanks for your help. also if anyone has anything for my car and are around seattle hit me up.

go to search and put in something like homemade mods. there is a post full of cheap functional homemade stuff.

Hey I know a easy cheap/well free mod...that is if you have tools. If your throttle cable is a little loose tighten it up till it rev's up your motor, back off it a little. make it where its tight and has no slack. You will notice a difference in throttle responce. did it to my friend's gti today also.
