Default wiring problem

I just wired up my system yesterday. and the signal isnt getting to the amp. we hooked up the power, ground, and remote, but i think we hooked up the remote to the wrong color or something. we hooked it up to the solid blue wire. but its not working at all. the amp and sub are fine. there was something else on the back of the amp tho...im a newb at sound systems...so i dont know what the "controller" was for...maybe that was it?

any help would be obliged. its a clarion deck with an alpine monoblock and a 12" rockford fosgate dvc.

we hooked up the RCA's to every possible outlet in the back. there is a blue wire. and a blue striped wire. i know one is remote and one is power antenna

but we tried nearly every possible combination... and still nothing....the amp turns on fine...but i get no signal.

he says his amp is powering on so the power/remote is fine...you said one of the blue wires is either remote or antenna...anyone should do so that shouldnt be your problem..your amp turns on so you remote wire is fine...not sure if the amp will turn on if its NOT grounded so you might be already grounded...just recheck your RCA's...and move em around...put the volume up a little...make sure no other speaker wires are touching each other too
