5 gear rpm speed????
Recently bought a 95 H22A1 VTEC Prelude. Had to do all this work on it, replacing timing belt. all plugs/wires/cap/rotor, shocks, inner tie rod sockets, new clutch. Anyhow, my main question is, is it normal for the rpm to be about 4K when I am driving 75mph on the freeway? Seems a little high no?
5th should get up to around 85 at 4k
plug in your specs here: http://www.mysportscar.com/features/topspeed.htm
your 5th gear is .87, and final driveis 4.266

did I say overdrive? lol
the 205 55 tires do make a bit of difference. Probably the speed is fine considering the tires and that the tach isn't gonna be 100% accurate.
