NASA TO PUBLISH "SPEEDNEWS" IN GRM
NASA is pleased to announce that Grassroots Motorsports Magazine (GRM) will be including the NASA newsletter, Speednews, as a component of GRM's regular publication. As a result, all NASA members will receive a copy of GRM in place of the Speednews newsletter currently sent out. This new partnership will allow NASA members to enjoy the rest of the outstanding content of GRM along with news about NASA.
"This is a great deal for us and our members", said Jerry Kunzman NASA's Executive Director. "I've been reading GRM for years as it has always had the best coverage of the amateur motorsports scene, so to be able to offer this great benefit to our members is a real win for us."
Tim Suddard, publisher of GRM commented "We're very happy to deepen our relationship with NASA and their members. I think that everyone will really enjoy the added NASA content in GRM and the NASA members will also get tremendous value from receiving GRM as part of their membership."
The first issue for the new Speednews in GRM will be the June 2003 issue, which should begin hitting mailboxes and newsstands in May 2003.

what about those of us who are already subscribers - do we now get a "give-away" copy of the mag?

Since someone will probably ask the question, here's the answer.
Q: "What if my subscription is about to lapse, do I need to renew?"
A: I called GRM this afternoon. This most recent issue was my last. I asked her if I needed to renew, and she said no.
I asked her who I should call if I stop getting the magazine and she very honestly told me "I don't know yet, this all just started." I won't be surprised if some of us stop getting the magazine for a couple months.
Eh...just an excuse to go to Border's and drink fancy coffee

I'm interested in the answer also... I just recently received a guest subscription and was wondering if I'm gonna start getting 2.

Don't know. Didn't set up the deal. I have queried National. Give it to you when I get it.

I think it's a great idea but, when does it all happen? I mean I'm already a NASA member and have gotten the regular paper (NASA news) but, I haven't seen a copy of GRM in my mailbox yet...
