just curious cause,i'm using my cx harness,and the 02 plugs r stiil unconnected to an 02,so i figure that i can just swap the cx 02 onto the b16 without doing any wiring.would this work

 

No because your ecu for the b16 is made for a 4wire 02 sensor and the cx 02 sensor is a 5 wire. In other words if you do that the ecu will throw a cel.

Wrong.
A CX 02 sensor is single wired.
(yes ecu w/throw check engine light if you use a CX 02 on B16A and B16A ecu)

A VX 02 is the 5-wire'd 02 sensor.

 

i will be using a chipped p28 ecu,so it should be fine.right

did a p28 come with a cx? no

you need a 4 wire o2 for a p28 ecu, you might be able to use one from a d16z6 (what the p28 was made for).

u can get a 4wire from almost any honda except CX and VX

you can use virtually any 4-wire OBD1 or OBD2 02 from any non-vtec or SOHC/DOHC VTEC engine(s).
