plastic bag on exhaust piping

Default plastic bag on exhaust piping

I guess I ran over a grocery bag on the freeway and it attached itself to my exaust piping inbetween cat and resonater. and some on the res also, I pulled off as much as I could but some of it melted onto the pipe is there a easy way to get it off?

will it actually burn off or just melt more? I might see if I can peel it off but can't try tonight cus it's still hot.
