After getting a cat-back install on 99 teg, my check engine light came on so reset my ecu and now it's off. My car was running very rich after the install, will the ecu reset return my gas mileage (i guess the fuel mixing ratio(?)) back to normal?????? I'd estimate i was burning 25% more fuel before i did the ecu reset......

also..whenever you get a new exhaust.....you tend to punch it more just so you can hear it and "feel" the gain in power....more for the noise really. That causes your gas mileage to suck! Just unplug your battery for 10 minutes...and plug it back..and see how it goes from there.
