Default wheel selection...

okay, i need a lightweight (under 13 pounds) 16" gunmetal, steel gray, or silver wheel. i also need it to look nice with a base pearl white 5th gen lude with no kit (base skirts and rear not painted). i would also like to know how much they would help in the quarter mile. i would prefer them to be under 600 a set. could you also recommend a tire, size (__/__/16), and how much all of this costs. thanks

The rota grids in a 16" run about 16lbs roughly.....Someone in the classifieds are selling some and listed that as the weight.

well i dunno about the tire size but i want the tire to be wide, well wide enough so its not stickking out yet its about a finger width inward. does that make sense? i dont want the tire to stick out, but i dont want it to be inside like stock.TIA

They won't slow your car down much, if at all. The lude already has 16s to begin with, and they are probably not even significantly lighter than 17 inch Rotas.

i htought they were 21 pounds for the base wheels. and the rotas are 16.5 i believe. so what size tire should i get? i am dropped 1/5 inches all around. i have a 2 1/2 finger gap in front. and a 2 finer gap in back. is there a way i can get my car to look lower wtih the tire size? thanks. BTW, how wide should i go? again, not so it sticks out, but just barely inside, and i mean JUST BARELY inside. TIA

i considered puting on a monster set of 225/45 R16 on my Grids when they come in, talk about wide as ****, but i can't afford a hundred bux a tire for some wheels that will be mostly used for auto-x and dicking around (burnouts etc), i will save the money and go towards those 18s i want and roll some nice Z rated 150+mph tires on them, but for my 16s, some cheap *** Falken Azenis are good enough for me
