what car are you boosting? LS teg...wouldnt go over 7-8 on stock internals. GSR...probably the same if not a little less. GSR has higher compression.

no offense bro but if your "days away" from installing a turbo and youre asking questions like do i need to change more than rings and seals then you need to do some serious research, to be streetable and reliable at the minimum youre gonna need forged rods and pistons, not to mention new rings, bearings, seals and pumps

how much thought have you given to your fuel management?

I dont think he needs all that, yes, if hes going to crack open the motor to replace the rings and HG he should replace all the pumps, bearings, seals, and maybe switch to ARP bolts and studs. But a well tuned system on conservative boost will be fine with stock internals.. On an LS- 10 psi (MAX!) with a good piggyback/standalone (ie. Hondata). GSR-7-8psi depending on how conservative your timing is and what octane is available in your area.

As above, research is your friend..

well i'm helping another guy build his header and order his parts and i'm gathering mine at the same time. I'm only going to Push @ 5psi
IHI RHB5(MAZDA 626T) i've did alot of research and from what i've heard is under 6 to 7 i could run stock internals, but i wanted a second opinion.......

its all in how you drive also, even if your only pushing 6lbs but your hitting full boost several times a day and you drive almost every day youre gonna be putting a lot more strain on the stock internals than if you were pushing 10lbs and drove more conservatively
