ok today i took off my tranny because the flywheel was loose we tightened that up and tightened my clutch up and when we got done we put it all back together. then im leaving work about 20 minutes ago and the clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor, its the stock jdm b16a tranny and its cable my friend sudgested that it could be the return spring on the clutch release bearing? any other ideas why it might of messed up again? this car is my worst nightmare and i just wish it would run right
same exact thing happend to me ... it was the spring on the release arm of the tranny. the first time the spring was broken ... then i installed it wrong when replacing it, and it worked fine for a week, then sank again .... if that is your problem, make sure you install it right ... make sure you look at one installed so you know its in right. i know i wish i did, woulda saved me 4 hours and 2 nice sized holes in drywall

the clutch fork was tight and had pressure on it and now it has no pressure and so we assume the spring is bad, the part that sucks is that i have taken off the tranny twice in the last 4 days

hah i feel you on this one, last summer i ripped my tranny off 3 times in a week, with no power tools, that got really old, really quick and damn i was pissed, my fender slightly paid for it
One time driving on I-5 and i got of the freeway because my exhaust started sounding like it had a leak. It turned out the doughnut between the cat and header had burnt through at some point.
Well getting to the point, I tried getting back on I-5 and i could not shift from 1 gear into 2nd on the on ramp. So i pulled back over and i could feel the clutch pedal lost pressure and was resting near the floor. After looking at the clutch cable where it attaches to the tranny, I saw that somehow it was fully loose. After adjusting it normally, the tranny(J1) has been fine since. Maybe this is what happened...

Add me to the list. I didn't put the arms of the spring in the indentations on the fork, I realized that the clutch release arm wouldn't move AFTER we had the engine in the car and all hooked up.
That day really sucked, we had to take the engine back out just to go back in for that spring.
