OT: Got on waiting list for STi....soon to say bye bye to Integra
I got info. that MSRP is like $30,995 with invoice like $28,500. my buddy is on the list to get the car for $400 over invoice, I called up the same dealership and got on the list as well. I'm probably like way up high in the numbers while my buddy is lower in the numbers, but I figure that by the time they call my number I'll be ready.
My first color choice is WR Blue with the Gold BBS wheels
second color choice is Aspen White with Gold BBS's
anyhow lets see how things turn out.
For the meantime I'm gonna try to keep my Integra as low milege and babied as possible till I sell her off.

Yeah the white is nice, but i'd rather stick to the "traditional" WR Blue color.
I'd have to see the both parked next to each other in order for me to decide....it'll be a tough choice though
anyhow I spoke to my buddy tonight and he told me that the factory BBS Wheels cost around $2000, and that the STi tires are the same type of tires that Honda uses on its NSX-R....neat stuff aint it?

Gee thanks for the offer anyway. How much were they gonna charge you? #2 on the list is crazy but even though I could be #2 on the list, I wouldn't be ready, I am shooting for the car by the end of next year, or from sept -dec 2004...and by the time my dealership gets up to my number, I should be ready by then.

i wonder how they shift, cause the WRX i drove (with the STi shift kit) shifted worse than my 31 year porsche.....

have fun trying to look over that enormous hood sc00p. I like the 2002 model year hella better. either way good luck and watch out for those Evos
With all due respect Charlie. But I work for Subie and if you think you'll get an STI for $28,900 you've been misled. Whoever told you that is living a pipe dream. Good luck in your new car endeavor.
Shouldn't you change your avatar.... kinda sac religious ordering a STI and having an EVO avatar.... Don't you think?

you must ask the avatar gods for their blessings. then goto mount summit and retrieve the holy dagger of krintiz. Then and only then will thou see the avatar bearing light!

he's not even getting the car for another year and half. he said sep-dec '04....by then something else will pop up...talk to us in a year and half and let us know how is goes...if subie track record holds up it wont be all the hype its made up to be...i watch my friends 170whp dc2 beat a 300whp wrx by 2 car lengths repeatively....didnt think awd was hard to drive
