Help with launching!!
what I want to know is what is the right way to lauch???
I've been launching at 2500 and just drop the clutch and go. But lately I've been hearing that my method is the wrong way to do it.
I hear of feathering but dont understand?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
My mods are: B16A1 in a 1988 CRX, DC header, Hayame exhaust no cat, Stock clutch and street tires.

I usually do a launch much like yours but if i get wheel "hop" i feather the clutch to see if i cant control that. feathering can help a launch, but i think it wears a clutch out faster then dumping....
and all this information comes from me... a road racer not a drag racer... so take it for what you think it is or might be lol... try and see what works best!

dont be shy to rev that thing alittle higher, if you have an lsd tranny you can get good traction at about 3000-3500 rpm's this is what i do and it works out rather well. i like to dump the clutch because lsd grabs. but if you dont have that you might want to ease the clutch out to get better traction.
