Default To Those ITR's with over 200-230 WHP

Just wondering, how is your traction?

I ask in here because Im sure you all have LSD and tend to choose pretty good tires.

How is your grip? weither it be N/A or JRSC.

How is your traction when launched? Hitting VTEC and punching out of turns?

im making over 200whp all motor, with stock 15s i couldnt get traction worth a crap making 1st and second gear useless. I now have heavier 17s with new tires and traction is improved but i still breal traction at 7000 rpms.

my traction sucks, but you get used to it and you just have to LEARN how to keep traction by not romping on the throttle. btw, AEM 2 stage launch set up ownz

Translation = I put bigger, heavier, harder to accelerate wheels/tires on the car so it seems like i have better traction when all i did was slow the car down

229whp with a charger and I had horrible traction problems from 1st through 2nd. I put light wieght 18"volks on my car and I get okay starts now. I still break the wheels a little in 1st depending on the road surface. It's a miracle my clutch is still stock.

Increased rotational inertia(I) = less force available to accelerate the car.

Translation: You are slower now because of your harder to turn wheels.

195/55/15 and 205/40/17 tires have about the same outer diameter.
the 17 inch tires paired with a lightweight rim..such as the
velox 17 inch rim that's 11.5 lbs won't slow u won't slow you down
that much.

no traction problem for me i guess... since when i launch, i do put up e-brake and rev higher but control the padel with clutch. i don't like drop clutch style if u talking about normal cars like mine not race cars
