Hey i was wondering if you got all three, would it just bolt-on to your car? And would it pass smog?

So there would be not cutting or welding of any sort right? And would the it be able to pass smog or would the CEL go on?

As long as everything is bolted up correctly (o2 sensors included) there is no reason for the CEL to go on, and it should pass smog, although that could be effected by what you've done to the motor.

I'm reasonably sure that the JDM ITR cat. doesn't have an 02 bung. If installed on a 4-door, the B-pipe length will need to be modified as well.

Oh really? Because i picked up a 4 door jdm exhaust and i was planning just to the header and cat if it just bolted right on.

Ah. I didn't see any reference to the ITR exhaust being from a 4-door, so I assumed you meant the more common 2(3?) door version. The length should be fine then, but I'm still relatively sure that the cat. will have no 02 bung, just the smaller cat. temp sensor bung.

You will also realize a greater performance benefit by using a quality aftermarket high-flow cat. instead of the factory JDM ITR cat.

Yeah just though it would save a couple bucks without the cutting and welding. But it seems like the better route.

I think you're referring to the cat. temp sensor.

Also, if his car is a '96 as his username suggests, he will indeed have a CEL if there is no secondary 02 after the cat.
