I just installed my N2O kit the other day and i had to set back my timing. I had to retard it to 2 degress for a 65 shot. Now i have always advanced the timing for a couple of horses and a little better gas milage but i have never retarded the timing, what exactly does that do? does it take away power? Im not familiar with that at all, all i do know is that i had to do this with the nitrous.

 

ok, thanks alot for clearing that up.... i do know to listen for pinging or any other unusual noises and to let off immediatly when it does... i have a B&M fpr and ill play around with that to add more fuel and hopefully ill get to a dyno soon to really tune it good
