head unit getting no power?? HELP!

Default head unit getting no power?? HELP!

I took out my oem stereo (97 civic) and wired my alpine up, then turned it on and nothing happened, so I checked the fuse and it needed replaced so I did it again and nothing at all.. so I rewired my original stereo and now it WON'T come on either.. I dunno what to do??

i dunno if it applies to a 96-00 but did you also check the fuse under the hood?

check the fuse under the hood, and double check your wiring you may have a short.
