I am trying to isntall power door locks on my 1992 accord dx sedan and can't figure out where to mount the actuator on the drivers side. Can anyone who has taken their door panel off help me out here? thanks for any help

What is the ACTUATOR ???

 

the motor that pushes and pulls the connecting rod (lock) open and closed

 

if I have time before class I'll snap a pic of it on my 93 LX for ya.

Np I have to take the panel off anyway dang window will not stay on the track so I do this ever o 3/4 days I'll have the pic up tommorow around 2pm EST (sorry didn't get to it today but tommorow it's in the shop at 12:00 so I'll have it off and home by 2pm)

is that the side of the door frame? I thought the actuators were mounted behind the panel. Could you explain the pics a little. thanks MAge

 

it's inside the door right below the lock it self on the door frame. mabe about 3/5mm below the lock.
