Default Removing a Cadillac Horn

I'm going to pull a horn off of an 82 Cadillac Biarritz (I think) and put it in my Honda because I heard that all Cadillacs have nice-sounding horns. I have to go to the junkyard later today, and I won't have much time there at all so it would really help if someone could explain the process or show me where to find instructions.

Help for taking out a horn may sound stupid, but from what I remember they were tucked away pretty good inside the fender and too hard to get to without taking other stuff off. It looked like there were two horns attached to the fender next to the driver's side corner light. Can anyone help me out?

As far as I know, on most GM cars the horns are near the front of the car behind the grille someplace. They are held on with just a 7/16 bolt or two. The newer ones may have changed. What I'm saying is just look around for the horn/horns.

It's true that the horns sound good, they are actually tuned to sound a certain way. It'd be funny to see people looking around for a big car to see only a Honda.

a lot of people on this board have Hella Supertone horns. You should check them out. I have a set on my beater truck. I'm sure the Cadi horns will be pretty loud too though.

Yeah, I've heard sound clips of those and they are loud but not really the sound I want I don't think. I wish I could find a sound clip of a cadillac horn. Does anyone have one?

Alright, I went the the junkyard again and just started taking it all apart. Even though the horns were hard to get at, the bolts for them were right there on the inside of the fender. So really it's very easy, in case anyone else needs to know.
